ABS light/alarm keeps coming on

Hi all
Does anyone else have a problem with an over sensitive ABS Alarm going off in their A2?
I have been to see Tony at A2 for Cruise control and new Anti-Roll Bar fitted. On both occasions he has run a diagnostic test on it and on both occasions it has come back as fine and dandy. But, the alarm comes on intermittently during a drive.
What's happening and what would folk suggest I do. Is it an over sensitive sensor or something else?
Any help would be great.

Have you checked the wheel bearings ?

Excessive play in these can mean that the ABS rings can move away from the sensors? On some occasions when cornering hard perhaps, it could therefore trigger the ABS warning.

I haven't personally but I did have the car check two weeks ago and had the brakes, wheels etc... Checked and all came out good. I also and a new anti roll bar fitted.
I guess if it keeps happening I'll have Tony at A2 Cars check it out and mention what you have suggested. It's weird because it can suddenly happen even on a straight road?!! It's also damn annoying.
