Concert 2: volume button stuck in

Hi,

I bought a Concert 2 head unit and when it arrived I noticed that the on-off/volume button stuck in. I cannot push, pull or rotate it. I'm still hesitating, should I send it back or may I try to fix it. How difficult is to get off the front panel, and do I have any chance to make it working properly?

OK, I have the solution for that. I had to remove the front panel (with a torx-6 screwdriver), then I dismantled it completely. The button had to be pulled up strongly, then I was able to push it back and since then it works like it should.

So now I can step further and go shopping for a Dension Gateway BT...

The other thing to try is to attach a small but very sticky adhesive pad to the button to get a bit more grip on it and try to pull it out with that. But it needs to be a strong sticky pad.
It might just be enough to give you sufficient pulling power?

I like the low cost low hassle options, if they don't work then ndavid's option is great.
