There is something about Tim Vine that I shouldn't like and I am not sure what it is, I think that he doesn't "perform" if you know what I mean. No bells and whistles.
BUT !!! he is amazing and his comedic timing is spot on. He really is the undisputed king of the one liners.
The nearest I have ever managed to his one-liners was the joke I tell (often, perhaps too often) about a book I just bought.
It is all about Anti Gravity,
I simply can't put it down.

I took my lawn up the other day and replaced it with a hen proof one. There,s not much of a difference except....... this one,s impeccable !.
That is a great one Dave!!!
I hate mowing my lawn, so I pour whiskey on it.
That way it comes up "half cut"
Nowhere near as good as Dave's but I had to respond with something.
