A2 Specialist in Staffordshire

Nice to see a shout out for Rob. He's seldom seen on these pages anymore. No idea why that is. Where are you chumsofmanunited? ?;)

Hopefully he is busy due to the demand for quality A2 services.

We are quite lucky in that we have a collection of top class A2 services dotted around the country, If only we can spread that a bit wider (including Scotland, Wales etc. etc.). But having said that, if anyone has to journey a distance to get to the many specialists we have, it is certainly never a wasted journey.

yeah...us northerners could be doing with a specialist in the central belt area and as most dont mind travelling its more to do with getting your car fixed quickly (same day if possible) should you need to travel a fair distance!

as much as i would love to get tony to fix my car at a2cars. for me it just isnt feasible due to distance and trying to get all work carried out within my budget limitation on a good timescale and for me that would have to be same day (most unlikely). for most that stay quite close would obviously have certain things fixed over a period of time but for people who live a great distance away this would have to be done in one visit.

lets hope a member or someone with great a2 knowledge and cars in general has the decency and honesty like tony at a2 cars to setup something similar, as there are far too many cowboy mechanics nowadays!

We do have a great member in the north who can fix things A2 tom, top guy who knows the A2 inside out cheers spud

you mean timmus? He doesn't do mechanical stuff though. Just electrics and trim etc.

yeah timmus is a perfectionist when it comes to electrics and trim :)

i will at some point get timmus to fit rnse and other stuff but its more mechanical like you say murdo thats the main concern for me and all of us north of the border.

i would rather hand my car into someone who knows all the ins/outs of the a2, and i know the easiest answer is the stealership but i dont think they have the time to go into detail like tony will do at a2cars who will also show you how to tackle these problems should they appear again. whereas, stealership will charge you an arm and a leg.

Now that's a real shame murdo, I did not know he was not mechanical, but the other stuff he fixes is second to none and attention to detail is 110%

I thoroughly recommend Rob and Marcus for their work having had a spare key programmed, new anti roll bar bushes and drop links installed and more recently my plastic sill replaced.

It all started with Rob supplying and fitting platinum grey leather seats (bench plus front heatable). I found them to be very courteous and knowledgable, hence my subsequent visits.
