Recently we've had a dispute between forum users about an item purchased through our marketplace not being received and no refund is being offered. We're very disappointed that such conduct has been experienced within A2OC however the individual involved with these allegations has been previously banned from the club.
As the bargain was made using the gift facility on PayPal there would appear to be no formal recourse for the buyer in this instance. Please refer to PayPal terms and conditions if you wish clarification on this.
As a result of this we will be proposing some amendment to our marketplace rules and whilst we understand it is within the spirit of this community to be fraternal and help each other out ( including the avoidance of fees) we would strongly recommend that no transactions are conducted within this forum using the gift facility on PayPal. Please select the fee option so there is some protection and also note the protection offered by your credit card provider for such transactions.
This is impossible to Police so it's simply a heads up and a recommendation based on the very unfortunate experience of one of our long standing members.
