Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and new to Audi A2's. We brought a car as spares and repairs as the gearbox had failed. I replaced the gearbox and then the management light came on with this fault
1 Fault Found:
16788 - EGR System
P0404 - 35-00 - Range / Performance
I have done some searching on the forum and found some useful information so thank you to all.
I completed some test and found the gears where stripped
All the post I have read say if the gears are stripped you need a new erg valve
This has probably been done and posted but I have just turned the gear and now the egr valve works again.
Hope this helps someone else at some point and again this has probably been done. I just did not read it when I was searching.
P.S. 1.6 FSi BAD engine
