Rip George Cole 'aka' Arthur Daley

Sad to hear that George Cole passed away, for those old enough to remember him playing the role of Arthur Daley the shifty car dealer amongst other roles, a great actor who will be sadly missed!
Watched many episodes of Minder in which he starred in the role in my youth!
Glad to know there's still plenty of unscrupulous car dealers/breakers out there to carry on the good work!

Indeed he was and he played a "spiv" then too.

He was a great "Foil" to Denis Waterman in "Minder".

I still remember when Arthur went into hospital and was about to get an injection.

The nurse said "Just a small prick" and Terry responded with "yes, but he has a nice smile"
Not an original joke but it did have me falling about laughing at the timing and the shock of it being allowed past the censors at that time!!

A great actor.
