Audi A1 Alloy Wheels

Would a set of Audi A1 Sportback Alloy Wheels fit straight onto an Audi A2?

The specs are:

16x7
5x100
ET34

tyres:

215/45/16

Thanks

The tyres are 215 45 16 and so fine for an A2 that is an A2 size already. So the tyres would fit too, I always thought that A1 tyres were taller than the A2 but it looks like they are so similar that they are a swap. The centre bore of the wheel matches too. 57.1.

So you should be good to go? I never checked before. It shows you how assumptions are often wrong.

Has anyone else done this straight swap? I must have had brain fade when I thought they were a different size.

I had SEAT R16x7 ET43 with 215/45 tyres and it was okay. Only few touches of inner plastic covers inside. ET34 leaves more space from inside, so they're good to go.

I have A1 SE wheels, straight swap.

I really don't know why I thought that the tyres were taller on the A1, perhaps I would have fitted the S Line 18" A1 wheels I had on my A1 if I had known.

As they say, you learn something new every day!!!
