Cleaning and detailing my A2

Since I was off on Friday and the weather was fine I spent the next few days cleaning and detailing my A2 on top and below. Found that in the past the car has been jacked incorrectly resulting in broken plastics.

I really need to get out more!

Nice work indeed. You could eat your dinner off the underside - gravity and practicality aside. Looks very sharp indeed from bodywork through to springs and rear brakes. Attention to detail.

Wow! What do you use to clean the underbody? That looks excellent !

I uesd Autoglym interior shampoo, scrub with a nail brush, wash off with a microfibre cloth and then wipe dry. I then use Autoglym bumper care then finish off with a spray of Autoglym vinyl and rubber care, polished up with a cloth.

Why do you need to get out more?
A Detailing job takes many hours and the results speak for themselves
Looks good
What polish did you use?

Thanks
However.....You mean wax I believe
Polish contains abrasives that remove microns of paint to 'Polish' the surface in readiness for Wax or other LSP (Last Stage Product)
Zymol Carbon is a wax

Managed to give mine a clean up too this week, makes you feel better when your car is clean!!
