Broken Tab - How do I remove headlight harness plug?

Hi

I have a broken tab on the headlight harness plug as circled below. How can I disconnect the plug without the tab?

simply shove the end of flat screwdriver into the back side of that slot as arrow shows, and pull it , job done ;)

You can also lift it from the back but it's a bid fiddly. A small jeweler's screwdriver should fit in there.
 
Mine are ruined too.

I slide the screwdriver in from the other end (where the red circle is) and push the scredriver handle towards the wiring and this JUST lifts the tab enough to release it.

But push the plug IN first or the tag will be held firm.

I cut the tab off, and they just pull off now. Never had one fall off, and they still seal fine. Very poor design of connector, I'd say SAAB ones are the best I've ever used.
