So then, it's all gone. Car, all the spares, the whole lot. Very, very sad seeing it being driven away today, I love that car, but it's going to a good home, so it should survive for a good few more years yet :).

However, although it's goodbye A2, it's hello A4 Avant. After getting the Open Sky replaced for free on a 9 year old car, I'm hooked on Audi. The customer service is legendary in my eyes, and as a Le Mans regular the Audi's look and sound incredible every year.

Anyway, I'll wander by this forum fom time to time to see what's happening. I hope I've managed to help anyone who wanted to go down the Monroe suspension route as an alternative to the firmer Koni FSD's. By the way, the Monroe's still look mint after three odd years :). Anyway the parts list for a complete changeover is still on here somewhere.

Best wishes to you all, and I have a feeling that sometime I'll be back, such is the appeal of the A2, a truly fabulous and fun little car. Take care everyone :).

Excellent, many thanks. I was told by an aircon specialist near me that it was the main rubber pipes, control unit and radiator that were all duff. Did you manage to get in it again by the way?
