Back from our vacation to the good old US of A.

We have just returned from a four week vacation to Florida.


Whilst there I thought that it would be interesting to count how many Audi A2's, if any, we could see during our travels.


Not one single Audi A2 was seen. In fact we only saw two Audi's in total but there were plenty of VW's,two Mercs and a handful of BMW's.


Expected the battery to be dead on our 1.4 TDI after four weeks as there seems to be quite a drain on the system somewhere.

Not surprising re the zero A2s as they were not sold in the USA (or anywhere outside Europe I believe) but really surprising only 2 Audi's in total. Would have expected lots of Audi SUVs. Back in 2006 10% of Audi's 905k production (90k) was sold in the US.

PS Found 1 A2 for sale* in Australia (says 1 of 4 imported into that country) and a YouTube video of an A2 in Japan
*Wants 22,000 Aus$ = £12,700 ! - made Mar 03 and has done 77k km
