Towbar electrics

Hi all, is it a simple job to connect the electrics for a towbar or does somthing need recoding to make it all work?.
Any help or info would be most welcome.

Also any info or help obtaining a new or used towbar kit !

I can send on some info that I have on the towbar, been a while since I've looked at it so not sure if it will help you but always good to have.

Indeed Audi original tow-bars are like hens teeth so if you see one buy it before I do Goodness knows I've got seriously close to just buying another A2 just to get the tow-bar!
