I'm not currently an A2 owner but I'm investigating using one for my next project, a 1.8T build.
Currently I drive a 1.8T converted Fabia Estate, as far as I know the only estate to have undergone this swap:
But too many people are doing 1.8T Fabias now... there are 5 that I know of in the UK
Currently on the lookout for a A2 spares/repair with a blown engine to use as the base and a 1.8T Ibiza to use as the donor (I'd be keeping my Fabia until the A2 is daily drivable and then I'd transfer the good bits from the Fabia (brakes, LSD gearbox and low mileage engine) to the A2.
I know there is one UK A2 1.8T around, or there was a few years ago. Does anyone know if the car is still around and the owner active on here?
