Hello fellow lawn mower riders,
I'm trying to decide on what rims should I buy, so i thought why not ask for opinions from you.
Are you riding stock rims or something different?
Personally i think these suits our cars the best : http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthrea...t-Audi-A2-SE-alloy-wheels-(-2-good-tyres)-%A3
But I can't find them in good condition.
Could get these for around 120 euro : https://autoplius.lt/skelbimai/audi-a2-a3-ir-kt-lengvojo-lydinio-r15-5045061.html

How did you choose your rims? what do you think looks the best?

Hi, As for which wheels do I think look the best, the standard wheels that look best to me are the 9 spoke Sport wheels (standard on the A2 Sport)
They are a bit soft if you hit huge potholes, but for looks to me they are the best standard A2 wheel.

The ones in your second link are great too, they are not necessarily standard on any A2s, but the fit and look very nice.

I am a fan of big wheels but if you want 15" wheels I REALLY like the standard A2 Pepperpot wheels.

Big wheels all the way. The A2's arches were made for them :)

Here's my 18x8.5 wheels

I like my TT Mk1 16s, with 205/50 R16 they also fill the arches nicely! Heavy but aesthetically the best if concerned about comfort. Not sure of the member's name (sorry) but... this photo sold me on them:

At 17", no idea what they're called, but I love these! Skipton01 and Talby (to name just2) ran/run these. Rare as hen's teeth on eBay mind you :(

Yes, I found Vredesteins to be excellent and the ride was noticeably smoother.

How do you think these would fit/suit the car ...

16x6.5J 5x100pcd ET42 - Comes with 205x55x16 tyres

Nice wheels but the tyres are just slightly too tall at 6% larger in diameter.

This would mean a potential to rub.

The speedo would be slightly out reading just a shade slower than you are doing.

But these are nice looking wheels for 16" that seem to have the right dimensions, I like them a lot, modern and 16" !!!!

So what size would be recommended?

you have good taste guys, all of your wheels fit our car nicely.
One more question about center bore. How bad is it to buy lets say a bigger center bore wheels and put them on ours 57.1 with some additional parts to make them fit?

Many aftermarket wheels come with "Spigot rings" to bring the bore down to 57.1 and that is fine and normal.

A 57.1 bore is deal but using spigot rings to get that bore from a larger bore is ok.

@Nat_s2 those are really nice wheels too. Do you mind me asking what they are and where to find them? Thanks.
