Information A2 Restoration

Haven't visited this site in quite some time, but I have a question perhaps someone here can answer. My little orange A2 is still with me and running strong. Only 85xxx km. But I heard about other manufacturers offering restoration programs for older vehicles. Anybody know if Audi has such a program? I would strongly consider it, even with the low milage. Just getting a refresh seems like a good idea, for a reasonable price, since I want to keep my baby until I die!

Good question. I don't know of one but much more likely in Germany. Do you have a photo of your car? Would love to see it.

engine rebuilds aren't hard to find for €1000 or so, depends on the issue. With a head it would be a little more but not much. I know of no rebuild programs, though Audi Tradition do exist.

The Mercedes factory engineers did this once as a test, with some very interesting results.
