And so one month into ownership I am getting through the jobs. Today I repaired the drivers door lock module and now have a working fuel flap. A strip down and full resolder of the joints did the trick.
I then went on to cable in the second hand rear speakers and tweeters I bought on ebay. The car has a Pioneer head unit and I am so used to four speakers that I didn't like having just two. I managed to get the cabling through with the existing wiring - a bit of a faff but invisible now and sounding great.
Jobs done so far:
New cam belt, water pump etc
New selector tower bearing
New gear box oil
Engine oil and filter change
New Luk clutch
Switched live added to stereo with hidden switch to allow permanent live too
Tidier wheels fitted
...and probably other jobs I have forgotten!
Just need to get rid of the wheel bearing drone now.
