2003 FSI Storm in Sprint Blue, extremly well maintained Reduced to 1,295

Another of my cars for sale

This is a stunning Sprint Blue Storm (FSI) really well maintained by its previous owner (A member on here)

All of the occasional FSI issues have been sorted and eliminated and the engine looks squeaky clean!!!

Will come with 9 Spoke alloys with two new and two hardly worn tyres (or the existing wheels and tyres can be left on)

Has a new windscreen due to a few small chips.

Has a folder full of history.

Drives really well and looks amazing.

MOT until March 2018, recently serviced

    More pictures to follow soon

    1,495

    REDUCED to 1,295

Mainly the extra pics Steve but also the current mileage and some idea of MPG.

    Regards

The car has just (today) been fitted with a new windscreen, due to some stone chips directly in the "line of sight"
I have fitted a hard touch climate panel to replace the current one which had stickers on (I must say the stickers were extremely well fitted by the previous owner.
As you can see from the engine bay, it is really clean in there! It has also had the wiring loom for the coils etc. fully sorted

The mileage is 116K and plenty of history.

By the way, the wheels are 15" not 16" as I had thought.
My plan is to fit 17" Sport wheels instead (the Storms often came with these)

I can't comment on the MPG for a FSI, perhaps other FSI owners may be able to comment?

Fabulous colour Sprint Blue which suits the storm very well indeed; good luck with the sale Steve.

Re: mpg - low miles around town will typically return anything from high 20's to low 30's (avg c.29) and on a run fully laden with family and modest luggage, high 40's to low 50's (avg c.49). This is with premium Shell fuel mind and a modest right foot. Mine does have the heavy opensky too and I am running on 17" BBS (which are by no means the lightest alloy). Hope this helps somewhat; albeit all cars, owners driving styles and trips undertaken are distinctly unique.
    Now:
    1.6 FSI SE [2004] - Cobalt Blue

Open-sky system, climate control, heated platinum leather sports seats, unique professionally tailored sports steering wheel, all-round electric windows, cruise control, full DIS, komfortblinker, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, /S-line gear lever, TT pedals, front stowage tray, rear cup holder centre console, heated mirrors, HIDs, LEDs, OEM mud-flaps, collapsible spare wheel & retro-fitted mounting bracket, ScanGauge, 17" BBS multi-spoke alloy wheels (Summer), refurbished OEM SE 16" 6 spoke alloy wheels (Winter).

    Was:
    1.4 TDI [75] 'Special Edition' [2005] - Akoya Silver

    1.4 Petrol 'Special Edition' [2004] - Silver

Looks great Steve. I can see why people start buying more than 1 A2

I am still surprised at the lack of interest in this great "Storm"

Is it the wheels? If so I have sourced a set of genuine 17" Sport wheels with great tyres and I could put them on the car if someobe prefers those. The price would be 1,350.

Or with the current wheels on, I can do a final price reduction to 1,250.

The car has a brand new screen. The worn climate buttons have been replaced.
    Nothing else needed doing.

I would certainly advise people to take a look at this car, I have recently bought a 1.6FSi Storm in Sprint Blue and they have really opened my eyes, all the engines are great but the FSi is just so perky, really a smile inducing machine. Sprint looks amazing in the sun as it is metallic and shimmers beautifully (but is hard to catch in photos). If I hadn't of bought mine Steve then this would be very tempting!!
