Information Sadly, our 12 year old A2 is no more... (and thanks for the forum, Admin)

All

Thanks for the advice I have received here over the last decade and more, our fourteen-year-old A2, owned for twelve years is now no more. Following an accident, it is - insurance-wise - beyond repair (something to do with the anticipated results of the geometry test).

And thanks to Admin for running this forum.

Bye now and drive safely.
:)

Always sad to hear of another A2 bite the dust, and especially one owned by one person for 12 years. I hope everyone was OK.

There are some good sounding A2s with low mileage being advertised by members of this forum. I'm sure you could be tempted ;)

Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope no one involved was injured.
As Alan has said you could always replace with another.

wishing you all the best with high ever car you decide on next.

Apologies all, for the tardy response.

No injuries - actulally it really did just look like a scrape. Our insurance paid out .... and with a 'refund' of the purchase price of £1700 divided by the years we owned here, the true cost of the car has been nominal. The annoying thing is tehre are a few Black A2's locally, so my heart jumps still when I see them.

And sorry all, we gave the car to the breakers, via a local garage.

Regards
