New front discs: MTEC drilled/slotted

I'd be interested to know how these performed as I am planning on getting quality parts to replace disks and pads on my A2.
What pads did you go for?

I went for Ceramic disc pads on "the project" same stopping power but no (or virtually no) dust and the wheels stayed nice and clean!!!

Well, they are on and do you know what look great. Quality is good. Obviously time will tell. The disks themselves have some rust marks from production, but no worse than others i've seen. The pack contains the disks only, no retaining screws.

Very straightforward to fit and look great.

and my old pads/disks, well, lets just say that numerous years have not see them doing very well. Pads were not particulary worn, but had stated to break up and the contact on the inner disk face was patchy. No wonder the judder.

After just 10 minutes or so driving they seem to perform very well after a bit of bedding in. And they obviously have that rather satisfyting grooved disk sound on braking.
