Information Heavy heart

It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my A2's :(, (this is not an advert), that will come later once I have documented what work has been completed and arrived at a price for each of them.

I'm not certain if all or some will be for sale at this point. Hoping to make the Welsh run regardless.

That is such a shame James...you put much so much hard effort into sourcing them and repairs. I doubt there is anyone else who has such a fine collection of colour storms. :(

Hi James,

Sorry to hear this, IU know how it feels.

I wish you the very best of luck and I hope that things work out for the best.

Gutted for you, James. I sensed this was in the pipeline. May I ask what's brought on this decision, or is that not really for public consumption?
I very much hope you're able to hang onto at least one of them. They are an excellent collection and are testament to your enthusiasm for the car we call love.

All the best and warm regards,

Tom

Hi James, sorry to hear you've had to make a decision to sell. Thank you for getting involved in the 'Bonnet' and I hope there will be an opportunity to sign your name and photograph it on your A2s.

Best wishes

Hilary

To endorse the comments of the previous posts, very sorry to read this James. You have a fine line up there and it will be a sad day to see this collection split.

Firstly, I hope that you can retain at least one example for yourself and that you remain an active member on here. I also hope that any that are put up for sale find solid homes amongst the members and/or fellow A2 enthusiasts.

The fine collection that you have acquired and your determination to improve their condition is a credit to you and you will always have this little piece of history and the memories of such a unique ownership experience to look back on.

Best regards,

Darren

I don't know you personally James, but it's always a sad thing to hear
that any enthusiast has to sell his pride/s and joy/s. I feel for you and hope this
situation will resolve for the best and you won't have to sell at all.

Best Wishes,

Boris

Hi James
I was fascinated with your collection as I have expressed in previous posts .. although I would not pry into ur personal circumstances it's very sad when uv got such a specialised collection ... I, for one, would be extremely interested in any or all of ur cars a place at my Care Home for A2cars... especially the Papaya orange & Misano red.. you're probably aware I've already got a 30k mls Imola Yellow tdi 90 ... I sincerely hope u can keep them but if not please bear me in mind ... Barry

So sorry to hear that. I add my hope to those above that this is a reduction not a complete end. Hope you are well.

Shocked to hear this James and sad for you, but you must have good reasons, best of luck in what you decide to do!
All the best Jeff

Many thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciate them. I hope to get some special photo's of the group before they get split up as a once in a life time opportunity, potentially re-creating the official Audi photos with a Scottish theme. I also hope to get the bonnet on them too.

So sorry to hear this James. Sounds serious. Along with the rest here, really hope you pull through and maybe can keep one.

Getting a photo shot of all of them would be a wonderful memento. Lots of architecturally fine sites in Scotland befitting the A2. Maybe the Armadillo or the Falkirk Wheel.

I am sad to hear of this. I was hoping to do the Glasgow meet this year but couldn't make it. One of the reasons for me to go was to meet the man with the impressive collection of colour storms. :(:(:(
