Bootmount cd changer missing?

So had the a2 now for almost a month and learning loads from here so first off many thanks to what I'm finding is a great forum full of friendly knowledgeable people!

Anyhow I seem to have what looks like a cd changer shaped "hole" under the boot floor. Some nice chap seems to have removed the actual changer from the boot but left the wiring and harness.

Can I reinstate cheaply or is it not worth the bother? For info I have chorus cd head unit.
