Handling, front end seems to be wandering on the road?

Hi Guys, I am not sure if this is wind/rain or cheap tyres, however when driving to play golf yesterday my front end seemed to lift on damp surface changes and the steering went light, I checked tyre pressures and they were not too bad, I gave me a fright a few times, I was only doing 30-40 mph in traffic, I usually have Uniroyal Rain sport 3's on previous Audi's are there any known issues with the front end to check for, Car has had all new front suspension recently and I am wondering if its an alignment problem, STAR Performance are not far from me if that's whats required. Tyres on at present are not a branded make. I have training regarding aquaplaning which is what it felt like, only roads were only damp with no standing water.
