Hi all,

can someone suggest a good garage for replacing my DMF & clutch please? Anywhere close to Leicestershire would be ideal but wouldn't mind travelling to a good place.

thanks,
Arun

Also, get them to check the Dual Mass Flywheel at the same time.

It is probably fine, but if it is showing signs of failure it is a LOT cheaper to change now, remembering that the next time you need a clutch will be in many thousands of miles.

Of course that depends on your budget, but it could save a hefty bill later?

Hi Steve,

yes. I was planning to replace the DMF. The car has a gentle regular vibration on idle, which goes away on depressing clutch and waiting for a few seconds.
This was making me think that the DMF is out of phase.

thanks,
Arun

yes, it sounds like time to replace it, subject to inspection.
But they are done if the early symptoms of a DMF on the way.
When we has it done it transformed the driving pleasure, especially the clutch pedal feel.

WOM willlook after you well.
