Weird Toot/hoot sound when depressing the accelerator after replacing the Thermostat.

After replacing the Thermostat I have this weird Toot/hoot sound under the bonnet after I press the accelerator. Anyone knows where the sound is coming from or what causes it?

FYI I replaced the Thermostat the "easy way" by unbolting the Thermostat hose only so not much had been moved around beforehand.

If you turn on the sound you can hear the "hoot/toot" sound after I depress the accelerator:

It sounds like the "Moo" that is often heard on A2s, I think it comes from the EGR pipework.

You might find it on a google search if you search for "A2OC moo"

This one shows up in that list

Thanks you so much I will try to undo them, funny enough I read already that they have been replaced with rubber bushes at one stage in 2009

The other thing to check before doping anything drastic is to check the large pipe that is to the left and under the brake reservoir area under the bonnet.

Try moving / holding firm, that large plastic pipe while someone else revs the car.

I had a really annoying noise similar to that once and after many hours of searching and listening I just put my hand on that pipe and it stopped.

In my case it was also noticeable on tickover as a rattle, but then more of a "moo" when just upping the revs.

Easy to check.
