d pillar replacement how to?

Can't find anything but is there a "how to" on replacing the d pillar trim?

I've logged at the A2 workshop manual and it seems I have to remove half the boot to get to them?

Hi Scott,

The interior D-pillar trim is indeed tucked behind the large boot side panels (which many regard as the most troublesome piece of the interior to refit with the exception of the dashboard). Should you wish, there's a helping hand here for you in Lancaster when you're next on your travels. As you know, I'm happy to show you how it's done rather than just doing it.

Cheers,

Tom

The workshop manual is right - you really do have to take off pretty much every surrounding panel to get the D pillar trim itself off. I don't ever recall seeing a how to, but if you're doing the job, you could perhaps do a how to for future reference.
