Hi all.
I need a little info please.
The radio/tape sound from the speakers has been very iffy since buying the car (cuts in and out unless cranked up very loud).
I've decided to replace it, as it's likely to be the radio, and not all 4 speakers at fault.
I know there's no switched 12v to the radio, so I'm going to tap off the fat white on the 2 pin plug on the back of the climate panel.
That switched 12v will fire a relay which will switch a fat new cable from the battery connection in the passenger footwell.
The switched cable via the relay will feed a new fuse box with will in turn feed the new radio and some USB sockets/voltmeter.
The USB sockets are for carcams, phone chargers, etc.
My question relates to the rear speakers. The fronts come off the head unit, but there's no mention of the rears on the radio pinout.
What gives?
Thanks.
