I have always loved the A2 since i first see it on the London Eye A2 Advert... It looked so cool and futuristic, Alu construction and fantastic mpg figures.
There was something about this little car that so far, six of them have managed to find their way onto my driveway over the last few years! (Lots of pictures to follow)
At the time, back in 2002 a few years after the A2 launch i decided to buy a Silver TT instead, this was the new revised version that had the 18" RS4's, Black leather and Bose. I loved that car, but i would still see these little silver A2's about and always thought 'I will buy one of those'
A few years later after being in company cars and not needing to buy a car, i decided to buy my first A2.
This was found on the Audi used car website located at Audi Reading. The car was 18 months old at the time and was one of the last ever registered! It was registered on 30th September 2005 on a 55 plate.
Some kind forum member had a look for me and he had actually driven this car and it was a 'good un'
It was a 55' Akoya Silver TDI 90 Sport with a few extras. Nothing much, but i did add some tasty little mods to it.
Stealth remap 117ps
Miltek full SS exhaust
Xenons
And a few other little extras A2oc stickers etc
Unfortunately, i cant find the pictures of this one, but i do have lots of pictures and details of my other A2's that i will be uploading asap in the 'reserved' posts below.
My current A2 is my little project, until i find the right TDI. I currently own a 2004 FSI Sport in Silver with a few little mods already. Black leather Sport seats will be installed next week and a Bose system sourced ready for a TDI. I am buying a few mods, so they are all ready for transplanting from the project car to a TDI in the future, then the FSI will be sold on.
I am pretty sure that the next OpenSky TDI i buy will never be sold, even if i do decide to buy a new car in the near future.
