It's been interesting to compare the DIS averages from my TT and my A2;
TT is driven 'enthusiastically': Average mpg is 34.4 and average speed 43mph
A2 is driven more sedately: Average mpg is 69.0 and average speed is 40mph
So that extra 3mph is costing a lot in fuel!
Simon.
But the TT is heavier and less aerodynamic surely?
and a larger engine?????

.....got my best ever mpg in "real" driving conditions. Brentwood to Stockport to Leeds. 294 miles at a true 67.7mpg measured brim to brim. That was on posh Esso diesel. Now filled up with Sainsbury's for the return journey.
Return journey was done on the Sainsbury's fuel. 216 miles, 63.9mpg true.
Very similar condition except for a 20 minute jam on the M25 which would have increased consumption. Difficult to conclude whether the fuel made a difference.
... saw 4 A2s: dark green, black, red and gray! All with the local Montenegro plates. Too bad I didn't bring my iphone to the beach to take photos

After getting a good deal on some 205 /40/ 17 rubber changed back to the sport wheels, pepper pots wearing all seasons and was my intention to keep them on all year round, but missed the handling and look.

A2's look sooooo much better on bigger wheels.
