Simple answer - no. It might electrically work, but the design of the speakers and sub etc is completely different. Sorry.

I agree, but I wasn't meaning aftermarket amp and speakers are better than the Bose A2 set up, I was meaning it would be a better job than trying to modify the A3 Bose set up.Whilst I agree with you that custom speakers and powerful amp could do a better job, from a cost point of view and the amount of effort it takes to create custom pods for the speakers etc, the original BOSE speaker setup can be had (fully fitted) for probably less money and it's sound is very reasonable for an OEM stereo setup, it has been pre-tuned to the A2 interior space and provides.
Okay, if you're a basshead then it ain't going to cut it, but I bet you couldn't play Funky Cold Medina on a standard BOSE system and not crack a smile
