Hi all,
I finished the first sunroof tonight for Mr Birchall, so thought it'd be good to write an official advert for the service in which interest can be listed. So, here are the options:
1: Repair Only
This service fixes any roof to work as it did from factory, through the use of custom parts, designed with reference from the genuine Audi parts which were recently discontinued, as well as a CNC machined, billet aluminium motor mount, which replaces Audi's poor motor mount design. The price including this and fitting into your car is £550.
2: OSS Service
As given away by the title, a simple service to keep the working roofs working. Includes panel re alignment if needed, re grease, blind cleaning and a check for any breaking pieces in the roof. afterwards I will notify you on whether all parts are factory original or if it has had parts replaced over it's lifetime. The roof does not have to come out for this and it can be done in a matter of around 2 hours. The price of one service is £80.
The repairs use a custom manufactured copy of the genuine Audi parts used to fix sunroofs, with tooth extensions to allow for extra grip of the moving parts. The depronman parts I use are not designed from, nor copied from genuine Audi parts, but I have used them, and they are far better than Audi's solution.
As people show their interest, I will list their names below:
Thanks,
Adam.
