Hi all next month I’m wanting to change the cambelt and water pump on Doris but I was wondering what is the best out there for a 1.4 BBY? ?
Thanks bud I’ll give them a callEvening Louis,
Am I right in thinking you’re in or near Coalville. If so I used Tyre King (just off London Road) to do the work. I forget exactly what they ordered but it was certainly a factory type replacement from TPS. They are pretty good with an A2 as they also replaced the clutch last year. Reasonable labour charges also.
Kind regards,
Tom
Well today I took the wheel of Doris and painted a bit of the brake calliper red to see what it would look like and I must say I love the look ?
What do you guys think?

Well today I attempted to replace the number plate light but the screws currently holding it in have snapped and one is just not coming out so what size drill bit do I need to drill the screws out and what size are the screws I need to refit in the number plate lights ? ?
I Also snapped one of the number plates trying to get them off as all the screws where rotten

Now that’s what I call a bodge job ? lol?
Can I still start the car and use it how it is or will it not start now as the immobilizer is brokenThis chip is for the immobilizer, would have to get another key reprogrammed or have the immobilizer in the ecu programmed out,so you can use the keys you have
Thanks
Pete
How much would this cost ?No spare key I take it? A GOOD auto locksmith will have the equipment to programme a new immo chip to the existing ECU / dash.
Would depronman travel to Leicester or would he need me to send him the ECU ??If cost is to high for you with a auto locksmith, ask paul (depronman) on here if he could blank out the immobilizer in the ecu for ya
