That's exactly what I hoped for. Thank you very much. I'm sure I can find the connections I need now. Mac.
Have you returned it yet? I'd likely buy it if not.Hi, I confess, I have given up, and returned the kit for a refund.
Radio out, plug and play. Good price too. Most importantly, no trim removal! Mac.
Have you returned it yet? I'd likely buy it if not.
So this fits between the flasher relay and its loom connector? The one I've returned is the one that needs half the car removed (and cable loom surgery) to fit it. The one in the ebay link is the one I've now ordered, it's plug & play. No difference in price either. Mac.
The one I've returned has bare wires, that have to be spliced directly into the cable loom from the indicator stalk conector. That means accessing the loom by removing the steering column cowl (in turn, accessed by removing the air bag, and steering wheel). The cotton tape that binds the loom has to be cut back, and the three individual cables have to be teased out, before the cables from the blinker are spliced in, using Scotchloks, or similar. It may be possible to access the loom by removing the lower dash trim, but I don't know for sure. There is no connection to the flasher relay. Only one of the three cables that are spliced is present at the flasher relay (the common flash relay output), as far as I can see. The other two run from the indicator stalk switch to the right and left indicator lamp circuit. So this fits between the flasher relay and its loom connector?

@PlasticMac some pics would be very much appreciated as this is on my “nice to have” list that I’m getting close to starting once I’ve sorted the fuel flap button.
