Hi from Lancashire

A2OC Donor
A delayed introduction seeing as I have already been in touch with several forum members already.

I bought (purely for the economical aspects of the car) a 2005 1.4 TDI SE. A few of you may have seen it on Autotrader from a dealer in Newcastle.

The economy is great and I could stop there but I cannot sit back and let the odd niggle or blemish go unresolved (on any car I own), especially as it is apparent so many members devote a lot of care and attention on their cars.

I would like to get everything done at once but time and the weather are against me so I will have to bide my time. However, "what I have is a very particular set of skills that I have acquired over a a very long career" that I can use to ensure this car will carry on for quite a few more years.

So the detailing begins

Welcome, hopefully our paths will cross as we are not too far from you. We currently have 4 A2's but this will be dropping to 3 very soon due to lack of space not desire.
Please note these fab little cars are very addictive be warned

Welcome and what a difference you have already made. Take heed of the above warning as these "niche" cars are very much loved. Ironically the worse they are the more love and attention they get lavished on them. Friendly club so make it your first point of call for help or advice. May not get an instant reply but someone or many will respond in time.

Welcome to a great forum.

I’ve got to say you interior looks great considering the mileage (assuming the profile mileage is correct).

Hi @in9999 I'm not far from you, in St Annes
Its fair to say that I know my way around the A2
I also refurbish and manufacture quite a range of parts for the A2, see my thread 'depronman services'
pop around anytime for an A2 natter
Cheers,
Paul

Yes look forward to meeting anyone with a similar interest, if only for a social meal or beer. It would appear there are more than a fair share of owners in the North West, and some real expertise as well.

If you look at Alans UK map for A2 sales the North West was a hot spot.
