Could you describe the components used (Fabia mk2?) - Also any modifications/ fabrication needed? Or literally a bolt-on job?
Does the extra braking now make it easier to lock up? I suppose you have the ABS system to curb that if so.
Are the standard brakes mediocre? Not yet having an A2 myself I’d be interested to know this as my intended usage will be high mileage and I value powerful brakes!
and now when your ready , you can move to the 312mm disc and pads , this is a calliper mounting bracket swap , along with the disc
I fitted the MK 1 TT set up , using Audi A1 wheel hubs , and TT parts , a simply massive reduction is stopping distance over the stadard set up
the unsprung weight had gone up a fair bit , but the trade of is the new set up has hardly worn over the last 12k miles , I fully expect this set up to last for 60k miles
