Today I.....

As with most new cars, but especially during this virus filled time, the steering wheel often feels like it's less than savoury. When I first got it I cleaned out up but the leather 4 spoke wheel needed pampering. So I used some nice leather cleaner to clean it back and then applied some leather balm and polished lightly with a clean cotton cloth.
So much better in the hands when driving now.

Made some progress.... Parts for front brakes and cambelt are ordered, need the tool and some time to fix those. Tyres sighted but not ordered yet. Interior progress is also finally happening... second shot with an LED maglite to show the intention. And no, I don't recommend doing this.

I have also been fascinated of the 3L version and since the last two weeks looking at mobile.de for a low mileage car. The ones you find in Sweden seems to always have high mileage. But they are becoming expensive now in Germany.

Thanks for sharing the link. Wish they were r/h drive!

Yes, I agree but probably won't taste as good :) It was a Kärcher Puzzi that I used today. One of my friends had rented the machine over the day to clean his cars. It is quite expensive to buy so it might be a good idea to just rent one.

Today I picked up my lovely new (to me!) A2. I’ve now officially fallen into the multiple A2 owner category, though sadly I fear it may only be temporary and the Grey one will have to go.

The car is an absolute credit to Joey (who I’ve not met but THANK YOU!) who created it and @PaulA2 who has sorted a number of niggly issues during his ownership and was fantastic to deal with, right down to brimming the tank for me on collection.

So I’ve had a lovely day ?

And it looks even better "in the flesh" than it does in the photos, having seen it on a couple of occasions.

I’ve been so Impressed with the rug doctor we hired to clean our rugs and sofa my wife and I have resolved to buy one and do a six-monthly wash of all carpets when we get back in the country - one rug we did seven times and even on the last run, the amount of filth pulled out of what seemed like an only mildly dirty rug using just a mild biological detergent was absolutely unbelievable!!

The particular model of rug doctor we rented had a great handheld attachment that would be ideal for car seats and carpets.
