Hey all

my n/s headlight is fogging up and needs replacing, anyone have any up for sale before I pay AUTODOC prices ? TIA

ps sorry if posted in wrong place

I used the method given by @Special edition in post 21 of this thread where there are various recommendations. It's unlikely that you will have to replace the headlight.

Yes, Special Edition’s post “makes it clear” ?

If you mean that it fogs up when damp, that is a different issue. The moisture is trapped inside the headlight and that is what is fogging it up. You could try just opening the “access door” on the back of the headlight to see if that helps. You can then close it again when it has dried out.

But if you mean that the @glass” is permanently fogged, this is another problem but you can correct this (see above)

I had my mums A2 detailed this week, including a headlight polish. The marring on the headlights is internal to the plastic as the outside is now near perfect.

My reason for posting: Does anyone know if the rubber strips around the lights are available separately?
