Well...you never know when I might need them!Really glad you got there in the end. You can send the extractors and chisels back now. Just remember 6 points Torx 12 pointed ZXN or spline or triple square driver needed.
The wheel end of the shaft is stuck in the hub.Does this diagram give you any pointers?

Yes undone the driveshaft nut, no not undone the bottom ball joint. I thought the shaft would slide out pretty easily, but it seems firmly stuck in the hub.Have you undone the driveshaft nut and the bottom ball joint? (I find it much easier to remove the shaft and do the repair in the vice)
Does it bolt into the Wheel holes? (thanks for this by the way)The Spline is glued in the hub . It wouldn’t move on mine I ended up buying one of these off amazon to push it out of the hub and then it wasn’t easy. The locktite Is to glue it back as per the elsa win guide

Yes I already had a replacement hub nut. Just bought the tool you suggested, so I'll give that a go when it arrives. What a palaver! That’s correct .Once you remove the hub nut attach it to the hub using the bolts that hold the wheel on.
The hub nut needs to be replaced I think it was £6
Haha i was lucky mine slid out easy think they had been apart before!Howey, do you fancy a holiday in Surrey over half term?
Yep all done now. I found it was easier to do the flange bolts up while the car was up on stands from underneath rather than using the long extension approach. The only thing I need to do now is adjust the headlights and it can go back in for its MOT.That is the great thing about this club. Collectively we can solve problems. Great to know you are hopefully on the final stretch now. Just remember to grease up the UV joint.
