Hello folks.

I have had to replace my aerial as my rear windscreen was replaced and the contacts for the aerial were disconnected. i have purchased an aftermarket aerial which i need to stick onto the front windscreen on the top right handside.

Can someone please guide me as to how i go about extending and concealing the wires for the aerial, and what is required to open the dashboard.

Many thanks

When you say they were disconnected, would it not be easier to reconnect them?

No aftermarket aerial is going to be anything like as effective as the original, and you'll be dissatisfied.
Was the replacement rear glazing not OEM?
Mac.

That's bad luck (or a bad installer). I'd think someone with electrical knowledge, and, maybe, soldering skills could repair it. Any friends or local auto electricians?
If the repair was via your insurance, was the installer linked to the insurance co? If so, I'd ask them to put it back to as was pretty damage.
Good luck.
Mac,

Out of interest if the new glass is OEM I assume it has the aerial(s) with it but how do the aerial wire tails come? Maybe too much to hope to have correct length tails with correct crimped connector pins, but surely adequate length bare wire tails?
