Thanks Tom the pedals are on the list but I've already bought a tt wheel and complete gear shifter, just waiting for them to arrive but thank you for the offer.Looks great Mark,
Don’t forget the TT Pedals to compliment the footrest!
If you struggle to get a TT steering wheel I can help out with a Sport steering wheel shortly. Just for the cost of postage as I’m considering adding a A1 MFSW.
Kind regards,
Tom
Thanks for the advice Tom, I'll be honest I did not know that but now I do they will be banned from Rex from this day forward.Looking really good, Mark. I look forward to seeing the car in the flesh and adding to it. ?
I can’t not mention the tree hanging from the rear view mirror. These smelly things (tree-shaped or otherwise!) emit a chemical that softens the soft-touch coating on the interior plastics. These things should be kept well away from the A2.
Cheers,
Tom
Busy day with the car today, I've repaired the boot with one of a few parts from @A2Steve so thanks again mate your a star, I realigned my steering wheel, properly fixed an Audi badge to the dash, replaced the drivers side rear passenger door lower window sill thanks again to Steve and finally resprayed the lower door trim on the passenger side to match the wing mirrors, all in all a good days work on Rex.

Tomorrow I will do the drivers side and maybe the rear panel that holds the number plate, we will see what tomorrow brings.
Wasn't to bad, the interior trim needs parts of the cloth headlining sticking back on and I snapped a rivet on the plastic boot sill but nothing major and I'm just happy to have my boot working again.Hi Mark. How did it go with the boot hinge. Was it ok in the end?
The side blades have worked really well ?

Thanks Darren, I'll be honest @A2Steve gave me the idea after I purchased a set of silver wing mirror casings, since then I've been on a mission to combine the red and silver. So far so good but there is of course more to come.I very much like the look Mark. Very distinctive. I’m a fan of your creativity and colour combination.
Finally got the rear panel back on, not happy with it but it is what it is, if I'd thought about it I would of asked Steve if he has one off a breaker, in fact @A2Steve do you have one from the breaker I had the wing mirrors from?
I've taken a pic so you can see for yourself.

I'll be honest Steve I was thinking the same myself, either way it is what it is for now, if I can get another red one I might just change it back, but I am thinking of making the spoiler silver.Love the side strips and the mirror caps matching the wheels, but I’m not feeling the boot plinth. That breakers gone now sorry mate, had another 2 since.
