ForwardYes, that is the existing relay. The mod effectively sits between that relay and its plug.
The 'strips' are part of the plastic dash housing that the relay locates into. The relay can be slid out of those mouldings
Where did you end up ‘stuffing’ all the extra cable and bits?Just fitted mine. Pretty simple, but was a bit of a faff working out what to do with the extra plastic and cable and best positioning. But it works great. Here's a pic of what you see when you first remove the cubby tray (before fitting the mod):
I can only state that it wasn't as tidy as Tom's install will be - once the cubby box is back, it looks perfect thoughWhere did you end up ‘stuffing’ all the extra cable and bits?
That was exactly what I was hoping someone would say!It is possible to leave the original flasher / hazard relay where it is and just disconnect the wiring loom to it, fish that connector forward and link in the two ends of the new cable onto the loom and relay. The new parts can be safely slipped down the back out of the way.
It should show you an option at the bottom of the page to translate in english...thats what I did as I only know 'good morning' in Grerman!!!Being from somerset Im struggling here, I click the link and its goes to ebay.de, thing is I cant navigate as dont know german! Anyone help me out here, can it be connverted to english?
I purchased mine on the 16th and still not arrived either. Really hoping that it is just slow delivery causing the problem
Afternoon,I ordered on the 22nd also and not arrived yet. Said to expect delivery by 30th so hoping just delayed due to busy post rather than customs - if customs I’m sure the demand for payment would have arrived through the door by now
HiAfternoon,
I also ordered 1x Komfortblinker via the link on 16th of November, it arrived 6 days later on the 22nd. No additional fees to pay.
If it’s not arrived in the next few days then please do contact them. Marion responds very quickly and has been a pleasure to work with recently.
Kind regards,
Tom
