Well I have had the battery on charge all day, and once it showed charged, I tested the battery. My battery tester says it is at 45% and needs replacing. The charge test said all okay. I had a look through the receipts I got with the car, and the battery was bought on the 17th Jan 2023!! I wouldn't of thought that a battery could be trashed that quickly but maybe it's possible. I'll maybe swap in the other battery for now.
I thought I'd try checking all the fuses with my infra red thermometer. All fuses were at ambient temperature, but the CCCU was 6 degrees above, which seemed strange, so I have removed it. With the CCU connected the drain is 0.47 amps, with it disconnected the drain falls to 0.027 so maybe I am on the right track.
I seem to remember reading that these early Q ones are not so reliable.. So I'll try swapping my other cars one in tomorrow and see if that works..
