Hi Guys.
What is the best thing to clean the black bits at the bottom of the car with? I am going to have a go at detailing when I get back from a business trip next month. I think everything should come up really well apart from the black sill covers near the front of the rear wheel. They look lke they have been sandblasted. Will clay work on these bits or is there some kind of plastic polish I could use? No matter how clean I get them, they look pitted and grey, rather than smooth and black. They are not too bad at the front and in the middle but at the rear they are not very good. It is also quite bad at the front/bottom of the rear wheel arch too. Any ideas?
I am going to get some mudflaps eventually, so maybe that will help.
Thanks for any info/tips.
