    Help! Locked out!

Hi Tom I tried that first and it does not work. It feels as if nothing is happening, I think as sciroccorrado suggested the barrel needs work. When I opened the gap between the bonnett and the flap I could see the screw and using my longest screwdriver slackened it off a turn or two and it...

    Help! Locked out!

Thanks so much for all your replies. This is a great forum! Andrew I have for several years used a solar trickle charger but last year the battery went flat, a poor connection I think. Hence this year I disconnected the battery. It would have been better not to as I could always open the door...

    Washer bottle problem

Solved! I had another look as audifan had suggested trying to flush out sludge in the system. I noticed there was a colourless jelly type stuff in the filter neck! I took out the filter (did not know it came out) and washed it under the tap. I was totally blocked by this jelly. Must have grown...

    Washer bottle problem

Thanks for your replies. When there was water in the bottle it pumped spraying the screen. The filler is still full to the brim but the pump just runs not pumping water and the siren goes when the ignition is switched on. IE it is empty. There must be a total blockage somewhere but I cannot see...

    Washer bottle problem

Hello all, The washer siren came on so I went to fill the bottle up but it was full to the brim! Strange I thought. So I tried using the washer and it worked for about five washes but then ran out of fluid. But the bottle is still full to the brim! What's going on? I am flummoxed. Regards Peter

Drivers inside door handle stopped working

Hi My drivers door cable is broken so I brought a new one from Stafford Audi £11.94 which included £3 P&P. Not bad I thought. The door card came off easily as did the old cable but I cannot see how to fit the new one into the lock. Do I have to remove the lock or is it possible to thread it...

    Recurrent "warped discs"

Hi I had just the same problem which was caused by an incorrectly fitted wheel bearing fitted by another VAG specialist. I had a new bearings, disks, and pads fitted. After about 1500 miles a slight judder started which progressively worsened. Tony at A2cars cured the problem by correctly...

    Sport's lumbar support uncomfortable.

I am with Vonnie. I found the SE seats uncomfortable especially on a long run and changed to Sports seats. I found them much more comfortable even without the adjustment. Tony of A2cars connected the electric adjustment and they are now even better. Thanks Tony! Hope this helps. Peter
