Many moons ago I stupidly bought a brand new rear exhaust box because a peg had snapped off and it wasn't supported correctly in the rubber mount. This cost a fair amount at the time and I recently noticed that my latest A2 was suffering from a similar issue. (Is this a problem on the 90,s ?)...

Around 18 months ago an autoglass technician fitted a new windscreen and advised a new scuttle panel as mine was broken at both ends with the tips missing. Ive put this off until yesterday so bit the bullet and paid a visit to Wakefield Audi. I found out that these scuttle panels are no longer...

The black plastic tubing which runs between the washer jets under the scuttle panel has become brittle and snapped. I've had a look at the Audi parts diagram and it's showing that this pipe should be corrogated. Does anyone know if the washer jet system/piping was changed over the years.

Currently at WOM...rusty and holed wishbone removed. Cast iron replacing pressed steel and should last forever...

Whilst visiting my son in Royston, near Barnsley, this afternoon I saw two A2,s parked up at the same house. A silver one on the drive with a personal plate and what looked like an isand green on the roadside. Anyone on here ?.

I would very much like to put the original 17" wheels back on my A2 sport but have been reluctant so far due to comfort issues. Does anyone have any recommendations for tyre makes which may provide a more sedate ride and give good rim protection . Cheers, Dave :)

I've had to buy a new battery for Vera. Very good service from Tayna with a next day delivery. My wife pointed out that it needed the travel vent stoppers removing or it would have exploded....whoops !.

Does anyone know how long a good conditioned battery will hold its charge. I will be going on a fairly long extended holiday soon and would like to keep the alarm system in operation and the doors locked.
