    Hi, does anyone know if the coolant expansion bottle is still available or if there is another VAG compatible part....???     Oil change made easier.....

    To simplify future oil changes and save me a long journey to use my brothers lift at his garage, I made a small modification to the under tray on my fsi for easier home maintenance.....I will be tidying up the edges of the cutout.... Chris

    There is a ridge in the door frame metalwork so the fronts cannot move nearer to the roofline.... I would say trimming 2mm off would cure it, but I’m reluctant to Cut/grind as they are new....

    FSi Uneven idle when up to temp...???

    I will check to see if the flaps/actuator are actually moving - I know the connecting rod is not brocken and does move (long nose pliers) last time I checked...!!! Odd that it was running fine before the thermostat was replaced, but I gues it was never getting up to temperature info before...!!!!

    I only have basic scanning software (app) that only shows p1031 error and is easy enough to clear...!!! would a full scan point to the faulty component...??? I'm near sutton/croydon if anyone has vcds and can do a scan...!!! chris
