Gonna change the gearbox oil on my polo bluemotion & bought this oil from VW three 1 ltr bottles as am sure it's 2.5 to refill (well it was when I changed the A2's oil) Now I have half a ltr left over from changing the A2's oil & was wondering if I can mix the half ltr with the new 2 ltr...

So has anybody done this recently? I took mine off today with help from the how-to and am i right in saying its the top part that you take off and re-grease?? That's what i did, cleaned and greased it put back together fitted back on car but it's still bloody whining :mad: An ideas:confused:

Afternoon, anyone know the size of the center wheel hub nut is? I was just about to take the drive shaft off but havent got a socket big enough :rolleyes: It's obviously bigger than my 32mm socket :p Cheers

So I decided to change my gearbox oil today and this is what came out I think you'll agree it's pretty dirty

Just wondering if anybody has cut down the gear stick :confused: I think it sits to high so was thinking of cutting it down a bit (anybody want a how to & pics while am doing it?) I did it on my mk4 golf a few years ago & it felt like a short throw :) Job for tomorrow me thinks :cool:

I was cleaning the car & just happend to lift up the gear gator only to find the rubber boot was crumbling away :rolleyes: so my question is can they be replaced if so where from?? Cheers

ok so i need to get a softer ride (well my 3yr old does lol) so i was thinking as am short on cash maybe someone would do a swap with my 17" wheels & tyres 16 se alloys will do as long as there clean & have good tyres, id even consider 15" oem alloys here is a pic of mine
