    DJ's adventures in A2 land

I would go with Michelin’s , I’ve had a few sets of Continental tyres and the feel and comparative grip to other tyres to be left wanting . I’m not a fan of em but that’s only my take on them over a few years

The cheap are just that and don’t last long at all , my first one was about 18months . My second was the k4 or k5 with the better quality motor and it’s been fine bar the utterly annoying hoes reel year coils up like an eel ... hateful thing

    Keeping positive - COVID-19

It was a victim of the modernisation plan from 1955 , the surge to move from coal to diesel and electric resulted in large orders of steam locos still being built while there was a raft of often untried diesels ordered . Our 37 was a result of this too and still being used today on the main line...

    Keeping positive - COVID-19

OSS - is it worth it?

On one of mine with OSS if you drop the rear windows by a few cms it stops the buffetting ( handy if you have full electric windows too ). Its nice but no deal breaker for me given the fact it can throw a wobbly anytime

How deep would you dare wade in your A2?

We seem to get alot of flooding here and i generally go out in the van due to the elevated position but if its higher than the kerb then its a no go really .I do marvel at some that fly at it and splutter to a halt

    Parts direct from Audi

it can also be fun ( not) dealing with a parts bod to actually find them interested in ordering a bit for an old car and then to be told its on back order etc and you have to potter back if/when it arrives
