took the sender out. Got this big gloopy bit out from the flange at the bottom. Hope this is it

What do you think Steve is the fuel sender a pump and gauge and is there a mechanical pump somewhere

Think you could be right about sender cut out again tonight 5 seconds of cranking fire up ok drove ok always use fuel additive

Old one was about 8 years old

New battery in the last 3 weeks think it was pushing out 14.4 volts

Fuel filter done about 6000 ago see what Steve comes up with thanks will let you all know

Just a thought my son was driving the car and said temperature was on 90 when it cut out he had done less than 3 miles normally takes 5 to 6 miles to get to 90 , would temperature sender cause car to cut out
