Thanks Depronman I should have been clearer, here's a description of the one I have replaced it defiantly a 2 pin. Does the brass insert, need to be in contact with the hub metal, forming a earth connection to work correctly?.

Thanks depronman The hose in question is the one circled in red, this connects to the coolant flange then onto the heat exchanger, I did remove the clean air duct, hoping to gain more access to the heat exchanger but to no avail.... Shaper
